Sausage pasta..



 Here's a simple and delicious sausage pasta recipe:

Ingredients:
•200g pasta (penne or any type you prefer)
•200g sausage (Italian sausage works well)
•1 tablespoon olive oil
•1 small onion, finely chopped
•2 garlic cloves, minced
•400g canned tomatoes (diced or crushed)
•1 teaspoon dried oregano
•1 teaspoon dried basil
•Salt and pepper to taste
•1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
•Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
1:Cook the pasta:
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2: Prepare the sausage:
Remove the sausage from its casing if using link sausage.
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

3:Saute Aromatics:
Add the chopped onion to the pan with the sausage and cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute, being careful not to let it burn.

4:Make the sause:
Pour in the canned tomatoes and stir to combine.
Add the dried oregano and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

5: Combine pasta and sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce and sausage. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.

6:Serve:
Serve the sausage pasta hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves if desired.
